After partition of India, majority of families of our Khudabadi Sonara Community settled down in Jaipur. On 11th April 1958, some prominent members of our community, who were having their plots in Sindhi Colony, Bani Park, Jaipur, had a meeting and decided to form an association to be called “Khudabadi Sonara Association” with the sole purpose of defending rights and the interest of the members and solving their problems under the presidentship of Late Shri Tikamdas Bhojraj Purswani. Later, Shri Bhojraj Ratoomal Sawlani benevolently donated his Plot No. 39, to the Association for purpose of construction of a Grand Marriage Hall, in General Body Meeting of Khudabadi Sonara Association, presided by him, held at his residence (Plot No. 72-73) on September 27, 1959.
